When we developed a problem in our computer server and phone equipment room with overheating (causing component degradation problems), we took the same holistic approach to solving it as we would take in your home. We improved room ventilation, which helped a little, but failed to fully solve the problem. Supplemental cooling was going to be needed. So we then installed a Mitsubishi ductless mini-split cooling system.
This system uses inverter compressor technology to only deliver as much cooling as is needed, minimizing energy use while keeping our critical equipment cool enough to function properly and ensure long-term reliability. In addition, it has a built-in filtration system to minimize particulates in the air, again, improving operation and longevity of the equipment in the room.
